Privacy Policy
Effective August 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HomeLoop collects, uses, stores, and shares information across homeloop.chat, HomeLoop accounts and portals, public agent pages, guides, forms, analytics, and connected messaging features.
1. Scope and roles
This Privacy Policy applies to HomeLoop’s website, accounts, client portals, public agent pages, link-in-bio pages, guides, forms, analytics, and connected messaging features. HomeLoop provides the technology. The real-estate professional identified on a page may separately control how information submitted through that page is used for real-estate follow-up and services. A brokerage name displayed with an agent generally identifies that agent’s professional affiliation and does not by itself mean the brokerage operates HomeLoop or receives information through HomeLoop.
2. Information you provide
HomeLoop may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, messages, property address, real-estate interests, preferred locations, budget, timeline, uploaded documents, portal preferences, transaction milestones, and other information you choose to submit.
3. Agent pages and lead sharing
When you submit a form, request a guide, respond to an automated conversation, or interact with a page operated by a real-estate professional, HomeLoop shares or makes that information available to the professional identified on that page. The professional may use it to respond, provide requested resources, manage the relationship, and offer real-estate services subject to applicable obligations. Information is provided to a brokerage or team only when the professional has authorized that access, uses an integrated brokerage or team system, or disclosure is otherwise required.
4. Agent and brokerage responsibilities
Real-estate professionals using HomeLoop are responsible for their own communications, brokerage disclosures, licensing information, marketing permissions, recordkeeping, fair-housing compliance, and any separate privacy notices required for their business. HomeLoop does not control an agent’s activities outside the platform.
5. Account and authentication information
HomeLoop processes account identifiers, invitation details, login records, and session information. If you choose Google sign-in, HomeLoop may receive your email address, name, profile image, and unique Google account identifier to authenticate you and connect you with the correct account. Google user data is not sold or used for advertising.
6. Instagram and connected-service information
When an eligible professional connects Instagram, HomeLoop may receive an Instagram account identifier, username, granted permissions, account and media insights, comments, messages, and related interaction data needed to provide the connected features. When a person interacts with a connected Instagram account, HomeLoop may also process that person’s Instagram-scoped identifier, username when available, message or comment content, conversation history, and responses to questions. HomeLoop uses this information to provide the requested Instagram integration, analytics, communication, automation, and real-estate follow-up features. Instagram access tokens are maintained only on HomeLoop’s server side and are stored in encrypted form.
7. Instagram disconnection and Meta deletion requests
When a professional disconnects Instagram from HomeLoop, HomeLoop removes the active Instagram connection and stored Instagram analytics associated with that connection. Meta may also send HomeLoop an authenticated platform data-deletion request. HomeLoop verifies the signed request before processing it. A verified request associated with a connected professional account removes the connection, Instagram analytics, and Instagram-derived contacts and conversations for that workspace; a request associated with an Instagram-scoped person removes that person’s Instagram-derived HomeLoop contact and conversation data. HomeLoop provides a public Meta data-deletion status and instructions page at /meta/data-deletion. Information may be retained only to the extent required by applicable law, security obligations, or independent professional recordkeeping requirements.
8. Usage and technical information
HomeLoop may process browser type, device type, IP address, timestamps, referring pages, page visits, link clicks, approximate location derived from technical data, and performance or security events. The use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the Cookie Policy.
9. How HomeLoop uses information
HomeLoop uses information to operate and secure the service, provide portals and public pages, deliver guides, route inquiries, support agent-client communication, send transactional messages, maintain records, troubleshoot problems, analyze service performance, prevent abuse, improve features, and comply with legal obligations.
10. How information is shared
HomeLoop does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with the agent connected to your interaction and with an authorized team or brokerage only when applicable; vendors that provide hosting, authentication, storage, email, analytics, and messaging; professional advisers; a successor in a business transaction; or authorities and other parties when legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
11. Service providers and integrations
HomeLoop uses third-party services that may include Vercel, Supabase, Resend, Google, and Meta or Instagram. These providers process information to support HomeLoop features and may have their own terms and privacy practices. Connected agents may also use separate customer-relationship, calendar, email, advertising, or brokerage systems.
12. Communications and choices
Transactional communications may be sent about an inquiry, account, invitation, portal, document, appointment, or real-estate relationship. Marketing communications require any consent applicable to the channel and may be opted out of using the instructions provided. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary service messages.
13. Data retention
HomeLoop retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, support agent and client records, satisfy legal or contractual requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Agents or brokerages may retain information under their own recordkeeping obligations even after HomeLoop deletes its copy.
14. Your privacy requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information maintained by HomeLoop, subject to identity verification and legal or operational exceptions. For information controlled independently by an agent or brokerage, HomeLoop may direct you to that professional or organization.
15. Security
HomeLoop uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
16. Children’s privacy
HomeLoop is intended for adults involved in real-estate and business activities and is not directed to children under 13. HomeLoop does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
17. Changes to this policy
HomeLoop may update this Privacy Policy as the service, participants, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when changes are published, and additional notice may be provided when appropriate.
18. Contact and privacy requests
Questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information may be sent to privacy@homeloop.chat. HomeLoop may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Meta and Instagram deletion instructions are also available at /meta/data-deletion.
